You knew it was only so long before I posted a for King and Country clip in my Advent collection for 2020. Even more difficult to wait it out when they’ve recently released a massive pile of clips with Christmas songs.
Originally I was going to hold this one off until Christmas Day. Then I thought ‘Who am I kidding?’
Here’s the official clip for Heavenly Hosts and yes… I do quite like this song đŸ™‚
A quality clip and emotive, as usual, from the fellas. Even more of an effort considering how locked-down the States are currently.
Happy Friday. Lyrics are below.
Yours in indulgence,
Alison

[Verse 1: Luke Smallbone]
My world’s standin’ still
On this moonlit hill
Alone
The stars fill my eyes
A strange and beautiful sight
O-oh
[Pre-Chorus: Joel Smallbone & Luke Smallbone, Luke Smallbone]
Then voices singin’ in the sky
Callin’ through the silent night
Bring me to my knees
[Chorus: Joel Smallbone & Luke Smallbone, Luke Smallbone]
Heavenly hosts cry “Glory, glory”
For the Lord is with us
Let all the Earth shout “Worthy, worthy”
Love has come to save us
[Post-Chorus: Joel Smallbone & Luke Smallbone]
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
[Verse 2: Joel Smallbone, Joel Smallbone & Luke Smallbone]
How could this little child
So humble, meek and mild
Come and save me?
And mend my heart and soul
The angels seem to know
Hear them singin’ on and on, yeah
[Chorus: Joel Smallbone & Luke Smallbone]
Heavenly hosts cry “Glory, glory”
For the Lord is with us
Let all the Earth shout “Worthy, worthy”
Love has come to save us
[Post-Chorus: Joel Smallbone & Luke Smallbone]
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy (Let ’em sing)
Holy, holy, holy
Love has come to save us
[Bridge: Luke Smallbone, Joel Smallbone & Smallbone & Choir]
Allelu… alleluia
Allelu… alleluia
Allelu… alleluia (Let ’em sing)
Allelu… alleluia
[Chorus: Joel Smallbone]
Heavenly hosts cry “Glory, glory”
For the Lord is with us
Let all the Earth shout “Worthy, worthy”
Love has come to save us
[Post-Chorus: Joel Smallbone & Luke Smallbone]
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
